Feature Requests

We recently started applying a card processing fee to all credit and debit card payments. For contracts where a deposit has already been made, we don't want to apply the processing fee to the entire contract, just certain payments. Right now we're adding this fee as a line-item in the proposal, but would love to see a feature that applies the processing fee to individual payments. It would also be great if the fee could apply to payment types so if we switch from Card to ACH, the fee automatically disappears.

One customer just asked if they could apply the sales tax after gratuity, and another customer asked if they could apply sales tax to the subtotal + admin fee, but BEFORE gratuity. It appears venues may way to apply sales tax differently.

With weddings, there are typically installments where it's 50% of the remaining balance due x days before event and then a final remaining balance payment. Don't want to have to manually schedule and calculate it each time.

I would like to request the ability to automatically apply the payment processing fees (currently 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) to the client's contract, so they are responsible for covering this charge. This would help ensure clients are aware of the processing fees upfront and include them in their final payment, providing greater transparency and streamlining the payment process for both parties.

Ability for customers to make future payments on the portal without us having to manually trigger them In surveying the team and even asking a few couples that were here for site visits over the last few days, the preference is to not have credit cards scheduled, rather the ability for them to make the payment on their own. The primary reason is we are finding a high percentage of where parents or others are making some of the payments; thus easier for the couple to manage who is making what payment on the portal.

Give guests the ability to choose which option they want and select it without needing to ask the venue to change it.

Andrew has to manually enter offline payments into QuickBooks to reconcile & wants a check box to tick off when he has completed this. This way it can also appear in Payments Report.

I would like the ability to have clients fill out a credit card authorization form directly through the Perfect Venue platform, rather than creating a form in Microsoft Word and attaching it to emails.
